The Lord’s Prayer: the Conclusion

The kingdom, the power, and the glory belong to you forever and ever. Amen.

What is meant by the word “Amen”?

Amen means that I should be certain that the requests in this prayer are acceptable to our Father in heaven, and are heard by him. The Father not only commanded us to pray in this manner, but he has also promised to hear us. Amen means “Yes, it will certainly happen.”
