Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God! There isn’t any temptation that you have experienced which is unusual for humans. God, who faithfully keeps his promises, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your power to resist. But when you are tempted, he will also give you the ability to endure the temptation as your way of escape.
1 Corinthians 10:13

This is a statement that can be trusted:
If we have died with him, we will live with him.
If we endure, we will rule with him.
If we disown him, he will disown us.
If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful
because he cannot be untrue to himself.
2 Timothy 2:11-13

We have been sprinkled with his blood to free us from a guilty conscience, and our bodies have been washed with clean water. So we must continue to come to him with a sincere heart and strong faith. We must continue to hold firmly to our declaration of faith. The one who made the promise is faithful.
