Is your mind filled with despair and doubt? Are you terrified by the evil of this present age? Scripture tells us that God didn’t give us a cowardly spirit but a spirit of power, love, and good judgment. The Lord is walking by your side. Call on him when you’re dismayed.

The LORD is my light and my salvation.
Who is there to fear?

Who is there to be afraid of?
Psalm 27:1

“My friends, I can guarantee that you don’t need to be afraid of those who kill the body. After that they can’t do anything more. I’ll show you the one you should be afraid of. Be afraid of the one who has the power to throw you into hell after killing you. I’m warning you to be afraid of him.
Luke 12:4-5
“The Lord’s eyes are on those who do what he approves.
His ears hear their prayer.
The Lord confronts those who do evil.”
Who will harm you if you are devoted to doing what is good? But even if you suffer for doing what God approves, you are blessed. Don’t be afraid of those who want to harm you. Don’t get upset.
