Christians in the Military Under Fire

U.S.A.F. planes in formation

Dear Friend,

We need your immediate help.

Perhaps you saw the news that atheist Mikey Weinstein has coerced the Commander of the 9th Missile Wing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming into replacing a Bible on a POW/MIA display with a generic “book of faith.”

Fox News reporter, Todd Starnes, reported on July 20, 2018, that Weinstein said he is fighting “…gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation’s armed forces.”

On another occasion Weinstein told the Washington Post that when members of the military and Chaplains share their faith in Jesus with others it is, “…spiritual rape.... it is sedition and treason. It should be punished.”

Christians in the service are under fire—whether on active duty, hospitalized veterans, or even at our military academies. What a sad state of affairs!

The Family Research Council, a Christian public policy ministry in Washington D.C., is encouraging Christians to take action and sign a petition that urges U.S. Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson to “Bring Back the Bible.”

Our Society is also fighting to restore this hard-fought freedom—day in, day out—and I know something about combat. I was a U.S. Army helicopter machine gunner on classified CIA missions in Laos. It was after being engaged in fierce fighting in South East Asia and a successful business career that I felt called to serve the Lord in full-time ministry.

That’s why it particularly pains me to see our Christian men and women in the military be persecuted for their faith. This is wrong. It violates the United States Constitution.

It is time for this persecution to come to an end. You can make that happen through your support. Even today, under the most frustrating and difficult circumstances, our Society continues to serve Christians in the military with Bibles and materials they can use to share their faith with others.

It’s tough, but just as Peter exclaimed to the Sanhedrin who tried to silence him, “We must obey God rather than you.”

Won’t you please stand with us and our men and women in the military during these trying times?

Your gift of just $25 will do so much to keep these distribution efforts going.

Of course, if you can give more—perhaps $100, $500 or even $1,000—it will be greatly appreciated. (All gifts are fully tax-deductible.)

Thank you, and may God continue to bless the United States of America,
