Reflecting on God’s Blessings from 2020
Dear friend of God’s Word Mission Society,
Thank you for partnering with God’s Word Mission Society to provide Bibles and evangelism resources to ministries that empower people and support a movement among God’s people to be active participants in his mission, “to seek and to save people who are lost” (Luke 19:10 GW).
During a pandemic and global economic challenges, your generous gifts make it possible to empower individuals to take GOD’S WORD Bibles and outreach materials to the English-speaking people of the world, focusing especially upon those who do not know Jesus as their Savior.
You help us do that by developing and distributing Bibles with the award-winning GOD’S WORD Bible and evangelism materials that help people like you share the Good News with family, friends, and the community.
Your support helped us accomplish many goals in 2020 that ensure the GOD’S WORD Translation Bible is preserved and continues to help people hear God’s voice in clear, natural English:
- Unveiled an updated version of the GodsWord.org website that improves user experience and helps us sell our Bible and outreach materials, further extending your generous support.
- Published the Deluxe Wide-Margin Bible, with all-new typesetting, textual updates, and ample space for journaling and note-taking.
- After releasing the first digital version for the Laridian Pocket Bible app, we released the first Kindle Edition of the GOD’S WORD Translation Bible, with copies purchased globally every week.
- In cooperation with the team from Paratext, published the GOD’S WORD Translation to the Digital Bible Library, a digital repository for the world’s Bible translations.
- Made the current Translation available on Bible Gateway.
- Welcomed stellar reviews of our Deluxe Large Print and Wide Margin Bibles from Bible Buying Guide.
- Licensed the GW Translation through the Digital Bible Library to global platforms like YouVersion, eSword, and ProPresenter.
