God's Word Mission Society Partners with KTIS

God's Word Mission Society partnered with Minnesota's KTIS Christian Radio during its Spring 2018 Share Week to provide at-risk youth and teens who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

A station representative commented, “God showed up in a big way; we have amazing listeners who love KTIS and have very generous spirits.”

The idea was simple: KTIS donated a GOD'S WORD Large Print Bible to Minnesota Teen Challenge on behalf of listeners who financially supported the station during the Share Campaign.

The idea to donate Bibles to Minnesota Teen Challenge was embraced enthusiastically by KTIS listeners.

The single-day campaign was far more about the giving the Bible than receiving a special listener gift, a Billy Graham Legacy CD. When listeners called in with their donations they would say, “I want to give a Bible…”

The GOD’S WORD Translation has the distinction of receiving the late Dr. Billy Graham’s endorsement:

“GOD’S WORD is an easy-to-understand Bible... it is a wonderful version to give to someone who is a new believer or is not yet a believer.”

98.5 KTIS has been communicating God’s message in the Twin Cities since 1949. While the “how” has changed through the years, the “why” has not: to lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their faith through Christ-centered media.

KTIS plays Contemporary Christian music that offers hope and encouragement to all who tune in. In addition, our initiatives are developed in order to help each KTIS listener grow in their faith by serving.
